Finding two photos that are compatible and can be combined easily

One of the options for this project was to remove the background of your main image. If you chose that option for one or all your pieces, what tools or techniques did you use to remove it? Were there some tools or techniques that worked better for you than others?

If we wanted to remove the background we would use the quick election tool and select inverse and press delete to remove the original background. To add a new background I used the paint bucket tool.

What are the advantages of using a Layer Mask to create the Double Exposure effect?

They are easy to control and to move the photo around the original picture
